Lane Norberg is a singer-songwriter from Portland, OR. Originally from Montana, Norberg recorded and released his first EP after graduating college. In 2018, Norberg relocated to Portland, OR, where he has quickly gained many faithful fans, playing hundreds of shows and touring all over the western US. Norberg has made a name for himself in Portland's vibrant local scene, winning the 2019 Local Roots Music Northwest Songwriting contest, performing at the 2023 Portland Folk Festival at the historic McMenamins Crystal Ballroom, and opening for national touring acts like Forest Blakk and Jon McLaughlin.
In 2021, Lane Norberg recorded and released his first full-length album, "Coming to Life" in Nashville, TN, working with some of the best musicians in the industry. Upon its release, the album was featured on the SiriusXM The Pulse show 'Train Tracks' hosted by Pat Monahan of Train and was named the September 'Album of the Month' by Local Roots Music NW. Since then, Norberg has released several singles including "Lose the Light", which was nominated for "Best Folk or Americana Song" by PNW Music Awards.
